   Social Gathering   

Westerly Village will be hosting a Social Gathering every week from 1:30 – 3:30 PM. Through the generosity of the Dunn’s Corner Presbyterian Church, we can utilize space in their facility on a weekly basis. This offers us a fantastic opportunity to have a meeting place where we can get together for a variety of activities.

Currently the intention for our Social Wednesdays is to simply relax and have some fun playing board games, cards, doing puzzles or whatever interests you, even if it’s to simply chat with other members and volunteers. It’s truly a time for you to just enjoy the company. Going forward we are hoping to start a book club and even plan for monthly lunches at nearby restaurants. Come by on Wednesday for some fun and we will talk more about what’s happening. If you wish you can bring your own beverage and snacks. Just a few tips if you are planning to attend:

• There’s plenty of free parking in the back of the church. That entrance leads right to Fellowship Hall where we will be meeting.
• The facility is wheelchair accessible
• Remember, if you need round trip transportation call in advance to Member Services (401) 441-5240 to submit a request.
• RSVP isn’t necessary, but we look forward to seeing you there.
