Alzheimer's in RI: A Village Conversation
Please join Annie Murphy, MA, Program Manager, Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter, and Bonnie Ryvicker, Village Common Board member, for a conversation about Alzheimer's in RI. This will include a 20 minute overview on: changes associated with normal aging versus potential warning signs of Alzheimer’s; the relationship between Alzheimer’s and dementia; risk factors; the importance of early diagnosis and early intervention; 10 warning signs; Alzheimer's Association programs and services offered online, virtually (right now); and international and United States reach and Involvement with international/global research. This will be followed by a discussion about the Village perspective and member and volunteer programs and services.
