The Village Common has a weekly walking program Tuesday mornings at the Pawtucket end of Blackstone Blvd. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a smile behind your mask.
Access to parks and natural areas has been shown to reduce stress, improve coping abilities, lessen social isolation, enhance relationship skills and improve cognitive function. Parks are spaces that build community pride, bring people together, and increase civic engagement and the sense of belonging regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion or income.
