About this event

TVCRI Book Club:
"Stations Eleven" by Emily St. John Mandel
The TVC Book Club discusses “Station Eleven” (2014) by the Canadian writer Emily St. John Mandel.
The story takes place in the Great Lakes region before and after a fictional swine flu pandemic, known as the "Georgia Flu", has devastated the world, killing most of the population. An audacious, darkly glittering novel set in the eerie days of civilization’s collapse—the spellbinding story of a Hollywood star, his would-be savior, and a nomadic group of actors roaming the scattered outposts of the Great Lakes region, risking everything for art and humanity.
