Zoom Gathering
Writers Group
Monthly meeting for writers facilitated by Kate Lohman. Writing, workshopping and peer review.
Meetings are on last Tuesday of the month through November.
Limited to 10 people per meeting.
Writer's Group will commence with a short period of writing for which prompts will be provided if writers need or want them. This will be followed by a workshopping segment which will allow writers presenting their work to receive feedback from their peers.
Writers presenting should email the work they wish to have reviewed at least three days before the meeting so that participants have an opportunity to read it ahead of time.
Zoom link will be provided by Kate before each meeting.
Kate Lohman as the new facilitator of the Writers Group. Kate has an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. Her background is in theatre: she’s worked as an actor, director, playwright, and teacher, and served as artistic director of RI’s Gamm Theater. For the past several years, Kate has been leading memoir workshops, for all ages and levels of experience, and in a variety of settings.
Registration is required!
Please click the "Register Now" button located at the top of this page. Kate Lohman will send an email with the Zoom link prior to the meeting. Should you need assistance registering, please call 401-441-5240, and a service coordinator will lend a hand.
