Volunteering

The East Greenwich Village is continually seeking volunteers to fill a variety of these roles, including serving on committees.

We believe that volunteering is a rewarding way to make a direct and positive impact in our community. It brings meaningful connection, and volunteers are the key ingredient of a successful village. Our volunteers decide when and how often they volunteer, and the types of services they wish to offer.

Working with The Village Common of RI, East Greenwich Village provides support to our members and volunteers. These include:

• Volunteers receive orientation, training, back-up and problem-solving support.
• Volunteers are vetted through a secure national online service
• Volunteers are insured and training is updated routinely
• Volunteers are encouraged, but not required, to join as members

East Greenwich Village offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are encouraged to consider their interests, passions, skills and time in choosing a volunteer role.
