Our Community

Jamestown is a beautiful waterfront community with challenges that face many communities. There are approximately 1,869 residents 60 years of age or older with one senior center to serve the community, and 25.4% live alone. A survey was conducted by the Jamestown Steering Committee that indicated a need for a volunteer organization such as this. Transportation, companionship, assistance with minor household needs and technical support were identified as needed resources.
