About this event

Rhode Island Forward:
A 2026 Gubernatorial Forum on
Aging, Disability, and Behavioral Health
RI's Governor has to hit the ground running in 2027 on aging, disabilities and behavioral health. Your voice and vote matter. Join us!
SACRI, Access Point RI (APRI) and Mental Health Association of RI (MHARI) invite you to join us at our Gubernatorial Forum on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5-7 PM at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. This forum will give Rhode Islanders an opportunity to hear the candidates for governor address issues affecting older adults, caregivers, families, the disability and behavioral health communities throughout the state.

We hope concerned voters, organizations working in the aging, health care, housing, transportation, disabilities, caregiving, and advocacy spaces will be present in the audience to demonstrate the breadth of support behind these priorities. Your attendance and voice will help reinforce the importance of clear, substantive answers from the candidates. A full house will also indicate the importance of these issues for the next administration to prioritize.
