Providence Village invites Providence Village members and volunteers to join us for an excursion on July 24, 2026 to the Bristol State House (from Capital to Courthouse, completed before June 1817)
, followed by lunch. The adventure will start at the main building of the Regency Apartments (1 Regency Plaza, Providence, RI)
at 10:00am, where we will meet a van that will provide transportation to/from Bristol. The expected return time to 1 Regency Plaza is 2:45pm. The van is provided courtesy of the City of Providence Senior Services Department.
The Bristol State House tour is approximately one-half hour long, with time to explore the Commons and Hope Street shops followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant on Thames Street. The tour is free and lunch is self-paid. Registration is required; space is limited.
