Ready to change the conversation about aging? Reframing Aging sessions help leaders and teams learn how to communicate more effectively about aging and older adults.
Changing the way we talk about aging can shift public perceptions, reduce age bias, change attitudes, and foster more favorable public policies. Anyone working on age-friendly initiatives in Rhode Island is welcome to attend. Sessions will be led by Alrie McNiff Daniels, a Reframing Aging facilitator with more than 30 years’ experience promoting healthier communities. This is open to:
- Community leaders
- People interested in eliminating ageism
- Civic leaders
- Professionals focused on meeting the needs of older people
- Employers
- Communications and marketing teams
